L’Etiquette: wine shop and a "cave à manger"

For more than 20 years, we have been raising awareness of 'real' wines ((organic, biodynamic and S.A.I.N.S. wines (without any Input or Sulphite "added")).

In 2019, L’Etiquette also became a cave à manger/wine bar (please note that we don’t take reservations for onsite consumption). We also have available our cellar room which can be reserved for private tastings.

Wine tastings – an experience for your senses

Our wine tastings—in English ‘with a French accent’—are focused on what your senses are experiencing and there’s none of the usual wine snobbery vocabulary. We like to chat and exchange with you. Wines are tasted 'blind' and there’s always a bottle of conventional wine included. The difference is astonishing and considerable. Our tastings are based on 30 years of conversations with winemakers.

We explain perception, sensation.  And we use props to help you really taste wine—empty bottles, photos, stones—and even salt!  We encourage questions and debate as we are not there to give you a lecture on wine.

You will taste at least three organic/natural wines and one conventional wine so you can notice the difference.

Tastings last around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on how many questions you have. The cost is 45€ per person. They usually start at 14:30 and are for a minimum of two people.

This experience is suitable for everyone: from beginners to more advanced.

At 8pm, the cellar room can be privatised for groups (a minimum of 6 people). A tasting of 6 wines with snacks, lasting between 2 and 2.5 hours. The cost is 80€ per person.

Please contact us by email to reserve or if you have any questions.

Our wines contain added or natural sulfites.

Alcohol abuse is harmful for health (especially if it contains chemicals). Consume in moderation.
